A Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan with a Framingham Orthodontist

The Patient

There are times when patients are just unhappy with their smiles. Sometimes they don’t even know what displeases them. An adult male patient of mine came to me from a referral. He had two major issues.

  • He had a spacing in his teeth as well as crooked teeth.
  • The spacing and alignment of his teeth caused him to feel apprehensive about smiling.

The Treatment Plan

The first step I take with all my patients is to schedule a consultation so that I can meet the patient, find out more about what is troubling them about their oral health, then analyze and diagnose the patients issues.

After my initial examination with this patient, I concluded that the large space (diastema) would be best served if I first have the patient seek orthodontic intervention. Before the patient scheduled his visit to the orthodontist, I had to remove the old and rather unsightly composite bonding veneers on his front teeth.

When I collaborate with specialists the” two heads better than one” motto rings true. Dr Sue Lee, an orthodontist located in Framingham, MA, and I worked on this particular case. I refer to Dr Lee because she delivers quality results in a relatively short period of time. Her patented appliances are very logical in design if one respects and studies the mathematics and geometry.

Results

After the patient had his orthodontic treatment, he only required a little bonding between his front teeth. This case was finished in 2011.

The patients bonding and results still look the same to this day and he has been very happy. It is a pleasure to have my patients pleased and smile with confidence.

I enjoy helping my patients Reveal their Smile.
